I spoke with the owner briefly and she wasn't happy with the way the 24s rode. So back to the tried and true Chevy Rally wheels it is.

It isn't stock either. It had a healthy lope at idle and sounded great pulling away. I don't believe it to have been the stock smoggy 305.

It may not seem like much.

But..

I would consider any de-donking a serious step in the right direction.

More so in the case of 80s Caprice "Coupes".

I want to see how it looked with the 24s. It seems like a lot of these cars have a lot of bodywork done to fit those huge wheels in the wheel wells and seems like it'd look goofy with stock wheels

In my area they area they're usually done pretty tastefully.

If you jack a "Box" up with springs from a 73-75 big block A body car 24s aren't a strech.

Turning corners and saving your kidneys?
